How to Create an Account

Sign up for DottSign in under two minutes, with email or Google.

Creating Your Account

DottSign is free to get started, no credit card required. You can sign up with your email address or with a Google account.


Option 1: Sign up with Email

  1. Go to dottsign.com and click Sign up in the top right corner.
  2. Enter your full name, email address, and a password (minimum 8 characters).
  3. Click Create account.
  4. Check your inbox for a verification email from DottSign and click the confirmation link.
  5. You'll be redirected to your dashboard, your account is ready.

Tip: If you don't see the verification email within 2 minutes, check your Spam or Promotions folder.


Option 2: Sign up with Google

  1. Click Continue with Google on the sign-up page.
  2. Select the Google account you want to use.
  3. Grant DottSign permission to access your name and email.
  4. You'll land directly on your dashboard, no email verification needed.

Option 3: Sign up via SSO (organisations)

If your organisation has SSO configured with DottSign, you won't need to create a personal password. Instead:

  1. Click Continue with SSO on the sign-up or login page.
  2. Enter your work email address.
  3. DottSign will detect your organisation's identity provider and redirect you to your company's login page.
  4. Complete authentication there, and you'll be brought back to DottSign.

After signing up

When you first land on your dashboard, we recommend:

  1. Complete your profile, add your full name and, optionally, a signature style. Go to Profile in the top navigation.
  2. Invite your team, if you're on a team plan, add colleagues under Organisations in the navigation.
  3. Send your first contract, follow the Getting Started guide to send a document in under 5 minutes.

Account limits on the free plan

The free plan includes:

  • Up to 5 active contracts per month
  • Unlimited signatories per contract
  • Access to all core signing features

Troubleshooting sign-up

"Email already in use", You likely already have an account with that address. Try signing in or use Forgot password to recover access.

Verification email not arriving, Check spam, then try resending from the sign-up confirmation screen. If still nothing, contact support@dottsign.com.

SSO error, Your organisation's SSO may not be fully configured yet. Contact your IT administrator or reach out to support@dottsign.com.
